Hi,

I moved my Visual Studio .NET Solution to a new computer, new installation of Visual Studio .NET. I do not have the other computer. Now after the ADX Project is built and registered, I open IE 8 and see this:

I click the icon and nothing happens (a dialog is supposed to open). This worked well on the other computer. What is wrong? I can send the project/solution source code if that helps; just give me a secure place to send it.

Thank you for your help,

Hi Eric,

Thank you for providing me with a screenshot.

Please try to set the Position property of your toolbar item (ADXIEToolBarItem) to the NewRow value. Does it help?

Hi,

Thanks. That worked, but the toolbar takes up the entire width of the browser:

maybe it's a new problem; maybe it is related... i do not know. any ideas how to fix? it used to be the width of a single button.

Hi Eric,

Only Internet Explorer decides where the toolbar should be displayed if you didn't set the Position property for the toolbar item (specify the NewRow value). So, I would recommend using the NewRow value for toolbars to make sure that they is always visible to users.
