Hi,

I've downloaded the example project to allow saving the command bar position, but when I run the demo it throws an OLE Exception. Debugging shows that it happens when it tries to read any of the properties of the command bar. Is there a way around this?

Hi Humberto,

What example do you mean? HowTO #17? If yes, I have just retested it and don't see any exceptions. Did you change the code of the example?

Yes, I took exactly the same code and compiled. Whenever I close the application it throws the exception. I'm currently using D7 & Outlook XP. Any ideas on what may be happening?

I have just tested the code under Outlook XP SP3. Works fine.

Any ideas on what may be happening?

What Outlook service packs do you have installed?
Do you have any other COM Add-ins installed in your Outlook?
