Is it possible to add own items in context menu depending on text under cursor? E.g.: if there is a field under cursor, then show additional menu item in the context menu.

I'm no expert in this, but I don't think there is. There is no MouseOver event that you can tap into in order to find out what is under the mouse cursor, and no OnPopup event that you can use either. I think you would have to wait until the user clicked on your menu item in order to investigate the text under the cursor. Then you could investigate the Selected property.

Hi Dmitry,

I think it is possible. MS Word has a lot of popup command bars that are displayed depending on the context. Try to add your buttons to popup command bar named "Fields".

BTW, following the link below you can find a useful tool.

Hey Dmitry -

Depending on what your editing, your context menu changes. If your editing text, you can add your menu item to the "Text" command bar.

Hope this helps
