Closing Outlook using red X contra File Exit

Hello,

some of my customers claim (and I already also have seen at my pcs), that there is a big difference in closing Outlook by using the red X button and by using File Exit.

"Somtetimes" (using red X) Outlook still remains in memory (Outlook.exe in the task manager) (and also the add-in).

What is the difference between the two closing methods?

Hello Ralph,

What is the difference between the two closing methods?

As far as I know there isn't any principal difference between these methods. The only difference that you surely know is File|Exit closes all Explorer windows while "X" closes only the active one.
