We have a customer who, for some reason, has a version of Outlook which he installed from the Windows App Store. It looks and behaves very similar to "normal" Outlook (the icon seems slightly different).

Try as we might, we can't get our COM Addin to register and work. Is there a different way we need to register it? Or will it just not work?

OK - so it looks like I will need to do a new version of the DLL? One for Store users and one for normal MS Office?

If you cannot deliver that DLL to all of them, then yes, you'll need to have a special version. The problem is: I don't know how to find out whether Office is installed from the store.
