Outlook 365 Disables "My Templates"

I have a user who uses Office 365 with our add-in which works fine except for one puzzling aspect.

In Outlook 365, there's this feature which allows you to pick templates when creating a new email. However, the button to do this "View Templates" is disabled if our add-in is active.

I don't know if it's a trust thing but our add-in has a valid digital signature.

Does anyone know of any other issues which may disable this feature?

Thanks

Hello Mark,

Can you send me a screenshot showing that button (enabled or disabled)?

What Outlook build are you using?

Hi Andrei

This is how it looks:

The version of Outlook is: 1806 (Build 10228.20134)

Mark,

It looks like a custom button, not a built-in one.

If you right-click the Ribbon and choose Customize the Ribbon in the context menu, in the right list expand the My Templates group (within the New Mail Message tab) and hover the mouse cursor over that button, what do you see in the tooltip?

Hi Andrei

I don't know if this will help but it has "Macro:OSFAction". At this stage, I have no idea what the actual macro is though except it allows them to select a template for an email. I've asked their IT guy to send me the details.

If I remove our add-in, the button is enabled.

Any ideas?

Regards

Mark,

It looks like that button is created by another add-in. Try to disable all other add-ins and turn them on one by one to find that add-in.
