hi guys,

is there a possibility to show a commandbar only in the "new mail" dialog that allows me to add an attachment to the current mail? if there is such a possibility, are there any good links i should know?

thanks in advance,

I see. Thanks.

1. If it doesn't correspond to Add-in Express.

A new message has EntryID = "". So when a new inspector is opened (the NewInspector event) it is place to check EntryID and to add a command bar. But there is a problem when another message is opened. The Inspector.Activate event will help you to avoid the problem.

2. If it correspons to Add-in Express.

Add an inspector command bar to the add-in module. Specify mail items in the ItemTypes property. Handle the Inspector.Activate event, check here EntryID and show/hide your command bar.

Another point. A message is placed within Drafts. EntryID <> "". In this case the Item.Sent = False.

Are drafts new messages? :-)
