I've noticed that ADXToys2OL demo doesn't disable the add-in buttons when you are in a root folder such as Outlook Today or Archive Folders. Clicking on the buttons while viewing one of these folders causes error "The Explorer has been closed and cannot be used for further operations." How can I get DoSelectionChange to recognize the folder type and disable the buttons?

Thanks,

Jack

Hi, Dmitry -

No, I just check in DoSelectionChange to see if I'm in a root folder & disable the buttons if I am. Seems to be working OK - do you see any problems with that approach?

Thanks,

Jack

Hello Jack,

I think this is one of possible decent approaches.
