Hi,

(vb.net, not VSTO)

I'm trying to set a color of an excel worksheet.
the code should be something like
ActiveWorksheet.tab.color = ....

but the tab property is not there :-(

I know that only office 2002 and above can set tabs - I'll switch (if version > 9 ...) on my prog.

How can I set this ?

Thanks & best

danny

Hi Danny.

I am afaid I don't understand which the tab you mean. Do you mean task panes in Office 2007?

Hi,

I mean the tabs with the names of the sheets.
If you open excel (in any version), they are at the buttom of the workbook, named "sheet 1", "sheet 2", "sheet 3".

see for example (non vba, just to clarify the tab issue)

best & tnx for all the help

Danny, please use the Excel._Worksheet.Tab property to change the color.

there is not such property (Excel._worksheet.tab does not compile).

Hi Danny.

The Excel._worksheet is not an object. This is the Excel interface.
You can obtain it via the ActiveSheet property of Excel application.
