Oh, well. I'll just write it up as someting weird. It does happen on our machines here. It is the second thing I've found with comboboxes that seems to be a timing issue. Another problem was if I set a combobox then set enabled state of a button on toolbar immediatly my combobox reverted to the default vaule. Both this problem have been fixed by "Just dont do that."

I am using Vista Ultimate and the latest version Add-In Express.NET

Thanks or your time,
Will

Just to let you know this still happens. When I disable then reenable a combo it grows. I have a work around

Office.CommandBarComboBox ddDensity = (Office.CommandBarComboBox)this.adxCommandBarDropDownListRes.ControlObj;
ddDensity.Enabled = dispQueryBarcode.bDensityCanChange;
//this.adxCommandBarDropDownListRes.Enabled = dispQueryBarcode.bDensityCanChange;

It is something in ADX that make it happen.

Hi Will.

When you change the Enabled property of the ADX control, the length of the control is increased and decreased by 1. It is needed to refresh the control correctly. But I haven't noticed any problems with such behaviour so far. Please test your code in a new Premium build. I will send you a link in a minute.
