Hi Andrei,

The security manager is referenced like this, in the main add-in:
Inernal AddinExpress.Outlook.SecurityManager SecurityManager;

With the dummy addin, Outlook in the above line is not known.

In the full add-in when I F12 on Outlook, it opens this dll:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Add-in Express\Add-in Express for .NET\Bin\SecurityManager.2005.dll"

In design time, with our full addin, there is a Security manager component, but I can't see that in the Adx toolbar. Are we using the wrong security manager?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm looking into those code blocks.

No-no. I assume the corresponding reference in the dummy add-in is broken because of the different folder path on your PC. Check the References section of the dummy add-in project. If so, remove that reference and add it anew; in the Reference Manager dialog, see Outlook Security Manager .NET in Assemblies | Extensions.

It won't display there. To add the Security Manager component onto the Toolbox (not ADX Toolbox!), switch to a tab, right-lick the free space below existing components, click Choose Items on the context menu, select Security Manager on the .NET Framework Components tab.

Hi Andrei,

Yes indeed the references to the Security Manager was showing a yellow warning, it couldn't be found. Ok, all good.

And I found the suspect code in event AdxComAddInModuleOlInspectorActivate! I'm busy with a work around now.

Thanks a lot, your help has been terrific!
