Thanks again Matt,

Actually I don't use the ADX events framework (it's a long story but it's to do with being about to work as either a plain IDTExtensibility addin or an ADX addin). I just use the ADX stuff for the Outlook Extensions.

Now I've typed all the XXXClass as XXX things are working well under 2.0. I typed the Explorer/Inspector events I needed like this:

((ExplorerEvents_Event)myExplorer).Close +=new ExplorerEvents_CloseEventHandler(Explorer_Close);

The big clue was in the runtime not liking the ExplorerClass - thanks!
