I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on my Virtual PC with Outlook 2010 32bit.

The issue may appear because of incorrect installation of Security Manager 2010.
Please try to uninstall Security Manager 2010 completely using Control Panel - Programs and Features and remove the "[Common Files folder]\Outlook Security Manager" folder after uninstalling. Then please install Security Manager 2010 again.

Hi Jan,

What versions of the secman.dll and osmax.ocx files did you use and register? (you can find the version information in the file properties -> the Details tab)

I am sorry, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue using your code and these dlls.
Can you prepare and send me a small sample project which reproduces the issue (see readme.txt for the support e-mail address and make sure your e-mail contains a link to this topic)? I will test it on my environment.

OK I've sent a sample project.

Although all I've done is paste the code I posted into a new project so I suspect if you can't reproduce it with the code I posted then it's unlikely you will with the sample project.

Thank you for providing me with the sample project. Right I wasn't able to reproduce the issue with this project either.
Could you please organize a remote session (please send the required credentials to the support email address)? I will look into the issue online.
