Hello,

Sorry for my late response ..

I've found the problem, but unfortunately not the solution.

We need to access Outlook with two different applications. when one access to outlook no problem, but when the second wants to disable the warning : Unspecified error.

Is there a way to access Outlook using secman in the same time ?

Thanks in advance for your support

Hello Gaėtan,

So, you have two applications that use the Outlook Security Manager and one of them works correctly while the second one produces the error. Is this a correct description of your problem?

If yes, I'd like to know if both applications follow the same code pattern:

OlSecurityManager.DisableOOMWarnings := True;
try
    // ... any action with protected objects ...
finally
    OlSecurityManager.DisableOOMWarnings := False;
end;

If yes, I need to have some code to reproduce the issue. You can send me the code to the support e-mail address (see readme.txt). Please make sure your e-mail contains a link to this topic.

Hello Andrei,

The problem's description is right.

Both applications have same code as you wrote.

try
OlSecurityManager1.ConnectTo(OpOutlookMain.Application);
OlSecurityManager1.DisableOOMWarnings := True;
DoSynchro;
finally
OlSecurityManager1.DisableOOMWarnings := False;
end;

When one application has taken the 'control' of the application, the other fails on
OlSecurityManager1.DisableOOMWarnings := True;
