Henry,

Look at the BeforeCheckNames event of MailItem.
It seems to look as you need.

Hi Dmitry and Eugene,

Thank you for your reply.
The school customer use Sendmail as mail server.
In terms of client side, they use different versions of Outlook (2000/2002/2003) on different Windows (98/Me/2000/XP/2003).

If I understand it correctly, the BeforeCheckNames event can only be used in VbaProject.OTM program.
However, we prefer to use Add-in approach becuase the installation process is simpler.

Our customer does not accept the idea of introducing another button on the tool bar and click on it to select address before sending the email. They just want to type the recepient name in the To field and then click on the Send button.

Regards,

Henry

Hi Dmitry,

Thank you so much.
Your are very helpful.
The demo you created work perfectly.
And it also solves my problem of not being able to hook the send button when user choose Word as mail editor.
Your pre-sale service is excellent.
After I show my demo to my client, we will buy your product.

Thank you again.

Regards,

Henry
