Donni,

Could you please send me a small project demonstrating this?

And here is the demo project;

There may be Turkish Character issue. For this reason I wrote some of the labels in Turkish.
Im using the latest trial of Adx,Outlook 2013, XE6.

By the way, my aim is to write the full path of the folder name to label on red form. Any idea?

Regards.

Hi Andrei,

Ok, I managed to show the form in the explorer window.

By adapting the code of the example you sent me.

Here you can find the source of my project, done with XE6.

My 2 problems are:
I would like my form to disappear when I click on another ribbon tab.
The Standard explorer Windows like mail inbox, outbox, draft etc. remain empty.

Would you be so Kind and help me out?

Thanks a lot !!!

Hello Mirko,

The Ribbon API doesn't provide a way to let you code get a notification when a tab gets activated.

Mirko Beckmann writes:
The Standard explorer Windows like mail inbox, outbox, draft etc. remain empty.

If only I understand the description correctly, I suppose you cannot distinguish your form. Try adding a control on it. Or you can set UseOfficeThemeForBackground=false on the item of the Forms Manager's Items collection and use any other color for the form's background.

Hello Andrei,

no it works actually. The form is shown just as I wanted.
But normally when starting Outlook, I see the Inbox folder in the explorer window. And this is blank, just plain white.
When I click on the ribbon to show my form it appears correctly, with all the controls I want.

It's just that I see in fact a plain white area in all explorer windows. Just my Form seems to work.

Regards...

Mirko,

When showing/hiding the form for a given folder, try to set the MAPIFolder.WebViewOn property (true - to show, false - to hide) and switch to another folder (we suggest using Outbox) and then return back to the given folder.

Hello Donni,

I'm really sorry for overlooking your post.

I've tested the add-in and I agree with you: this looks like a bug. I've passed the project to our developers. I expect that tomorrow I'll get some new information about the issue.

Hi Andrei,
Infect Im testing the components. I bought years ago and I want to upgrade last version because of a new project.

Is there any time frame about it? I want to give a time to my customer candidate.

Regards.
