Hi,

after successfully activating my AddIn Express 2010 for Office .Net, the Installation progressbar indicates the Installation to be completed, but then a !"????)%$ MessageBox comes up saying "The Add-in Express installation error! Possible reasons: - an error while activating the product - using a wrong product key...

I am very sure about the Key is correct.

How can I get rid of this Message?

Hi Leon,

Could you please send the product key you used for activating Add-in Express to the support e-mail address (see readme.txt for details)? I will check out the activation counter.

Hi Eugene, the Activation Counter has been reseted, I thought this was the error, but the activation process seems to be okay.

I have send you the mail anyway.

Hi Leon,

The activation counter looks good. What OS do you use? Could you please tell me the package name (*.zip) you try to install? Do you run the setup.exe?

Have installed the fresh downloaded adxnet-v604-b3056-vs-std Version.
I did not ran the setup.exe, just the MSI. I have previously installed an older Version of adx. It does not ask me to enter the License key.

Hi Leon,

1. Please check out the following registry hive HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Add-in Express. Do you have any records in this hive? If so, please try to export and then remove them from the windows registry. Does it help?

2. I always recommend running the setup.exe instead.

Hi eugene. Installing the 3052 and removing the registry keys before works for me.
I have to reanter the License Data, but it works. thanks!
