Using .Net (non-VSTO) product.

My Outlook addin has suddenly stopped loading on my dev box. Still works on other machines. Reverted to old code from known good builds -- addin still will not load. Installed the MSI used on other machines in production -- addin still will not load.

Nothing listed in Disabled Items, nothing listed in COM Add-Ins.

Cycled Register/Unregister ADX Project.

Any hints at what to look at?

This has something to do with the loader. Previous VSTO version of our addin still loads.

Hi Rick,

Please check if the add-in is registered: LoadBehavior in {HKLM or HKCU}\Software\Microsoft\Office\{host application}\Addins\{your add-in} should be 3.

If it is 3, please check if there are any problems mentioned in the log file typically located in {profile\Documents}\adxloader.log; the log file describes the process of loading the add-in.

The log looked good, but I was never able to figure this out. We decided it would be more efficient to just reimage the machine. It's working again. Thanks.
