Hi guys,

I recently had to reinstall VS and my project after a hard drive crash. Got everything put together again, the project is working fine during testing, but when I go to Publish, I get the following. It creates the certificate, but cant seem to read it.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Dan,

First of all please make sure that you placed the certificate file to the following place:

C:\Users\Dan\Documents\Cert1.pfx

Are you able to reproduce the issue with a newly created add-in project?

Hi guys,

I tried un-installing and re-installing, no luck. The key file is created, but AIE cant seem to read it. I'm running Windows 7. Running as Admin on all programs. Everything else is working perfectly as far as coding and testing the app on my machine. Just this last step fails.

I also checked the log file, nothing weird there.

I'm kind of in a bind since my hard drive crash I don't have a build (i do but its old). And I'm supposed to give a demo tomorrow with the new features I've built. So any tips or workarounds would be appreciated as far as getting a build put together asap.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Could you please organize a remote session? I will take a look at the issue online.

BTW Did you try to create a new test certificate? Does it work?

Yes, I created a test certificate, didn't work. How do we do a remote session? Ready when you are.

Eugene,

Never mind, found it in the root folder of the install file. Thanks!

Hi Dan,

Please let me know whether the SP1 for Visual Studio helps.
