Try the following:

Application.ActiveInspector.CurrentItem.HTMLBody = Application.ActiveInspector.CurrentItem.Body + "<DIV>Hi</DIV>"

Hi Fedor,

Thank you, yes, that would work I guess. The only thing is, I tried to modify the .Body property to see, whether I could use that path to insert an image. As Eugene stated above, this namely can't be done with the .HTMLBody property.

Thank you, even though it doesn't answer the weirdness of the unicode-thingy :-)
