I created an ADX XLL addin for Excel, and created some UDFs.
Also added the ADXFunctionCategory and defined the functions there.

When I use Insert Function dialog in excel, it shows function names
and information on each parameter,

however, when I type the function directly into an excel cell or formula bar, it does not show any parameter names or information. Some of the functions expect a lot of parameters and it user expects to see parameter info.

Has anyone been able to get such parameter info to show in Excel formular bar or cell?

Hello.

I am not sure that it is possible for XLL add-ins. But I will investigate this issue.
