The plugin is not stable.
In my system winxp and office 2003 it is working fine
but in my client sytem having same setup the above problem is there

Is there something to do with the framwork.

Hello Ashish,

Is the Adobe plug-in installed on that PC?
Is your add-in setup program added to the logon script on that PC?
Is it Add-in Express for VSTO?

Hi Ashish,

Was the setup project autogenerated by Add-in Express?
Did you try unregistering/registering the add-in manually, via regsvr32?
Can you create a sample add-in project and test it on the target PC? Does it show the same behavior?

hi Andrei,

Setup was autogenerated by Add-in Express
I had create one test application having

AdxCommandBarPopup1
AdxCommandBarButton1
AdxCommandBarButton2
AdxCommandBarButton3
AdxCommandBarButton4

after running the setup the menu appear but once i quit word and open it again the problem is still there.

In my system it is working fine.
I m sending the sample application to the support id.

Ashish,

Thank you for the project. Please always exclude unnecessary files.

Unregister your add-in, set Temporary = false for all controls and register the add-in anew.

Please check if normal.dot allows to be edited and saved. Not read-only.

Hi Andrei,

set Temporary = false for all controls

The Temporary property is false only
and the project which i had mailed you in that also Temporary = false for
AdxCommandBarPopup1
AdxCommandBarButton1

Just a small doubt if normal.dot is read only the menu won't appear the very first time when i open the word after installing the addins

If normal.dot is read-only, the command bars and controls will not be saved. Then, when you run the add-in for the second time, they will not be shown.
