Add-in Express product upgrade question?
from v3.6.2499 to v3.7.2503 for VSTO

Hi,

I am upgrading my Add-in Express for VSTO from v3.6.2499 to v3.7.2503 .
Would it be better to completely uninstall v3.6.2499 from my dev machine and then install the upgrade or I can install the upgrade without doing an uninstall of the old version first.

Also will this upgrade have an impact on the security manager for outlook,
or that should work exactly the same way as before?

Hello,

if you try to install it before have the old version uninstalled ou will get a warning to remove the old version prior the upgrade.

So, you must uninstall the old version.

I don't know for the second point. Sorry...

I did the upgrade and doesn't look like anything was affected as far as the security manager goes.I am all set.
