Hi there,

I really would like to build an "automatic update" function to our addin. Right noew the user is forced to uninstall the old msi, and install the new msi manually. Not very fancy ;-)

Have you any experience/examples how to archive this with msi technology?

To build the 'automatic updates' you can use the ClickOnce technology. Please read our documentation to learn how it works in Add-in Express.

As to the MSI technology, you can find the detailed description in the MSI SDK.
