Hi,

Although i have used ADX quite a bit for Outlook, i apologize in advance for my ignorance about automating Word. That being said, how to i go about adding an attachment during a mail merge process? Specifically, which event do i need to subscribe to and how do i get a reference to the MailItem interface? I will be using the Office 2007 PIAs.

Hi Martin.

You can't add attachments during a mail merge process but you can send the message as attachment. It can be done via the MailAsAttachment property of the Word.MailMerge interface. As to the MailItem interface, Word doesn't expose this interface.
