I uninstalled the software, reinstalled and simply can not find why this is happening.


could not be converted to a type library. Type library exporter encountered an error while processing 'Quiver.Office.Addin.Runtime.IQuiverAddinRuntime.get_WordQuiverTaskPane(#0),

I do not know why this is happening. It was working and now it simply does not anymore.

Hello Eric,

It looks like you have an installer that deploys and registers that DLL. If so, uninstall it and update the setup project.

Advanced installer provides an instruction on creating a setup project targeting Add-in Express add-ins at http://www.advancedinstaller.com/user-guide/qa-addin-express-installation.html. Compare what you have with that instruction. Make sure that you don't deploy AddinExpress.WD.2005.TLB (!).

I assume you've built that setup project and run it; since it refers to AddinExpress.WD.2005.TLB, it most pprobably registers that .TLB. You only need to deploy a TLB (or OLB) if you know why you need that file and why it must be registered.

I am having problems in Visual Studio. The install project is fine. I can not use the toolbar addinexpress to register the addin anymore.I am not deploying the TBL. How can I unregister it then?
