Just as the subject says - is this intentional, and if so, why?
Yes, I have the auUnloadUpdaterAfterCheckForUpdates set to false, since I want the updater to always check for new versions, but I don't think it should do that if there's no add-in installed.
I suppose I can probably kill it in the uninstall custom actions of the msi (though i'm not sure how exactly), but I don't think I should be doing it, I believe your code should.
Using 9.3.4640.0

Is it possible that the add-in's registry keys are still in place? Is the add-in listed on the File | Options | Add-ins page?
