Oh, I see.

Note that you won't be able to unregister such an XLL add-in. I suppose that after you uninstall the COM add-in, the user will receive a nasty message informing them about your XLL add-in missing and suggesting to delete the add-in from the list of add-ins.

I suppose you specify a loader file of an incorrect bitness. Is this the case?

Yes we check if the process is 32 or 64 bit and use adxloader or adxloader64.
Good hint, yes we can only deinstall manually.

But our problem is currently not deinstalling. Our problem is installing.
