Ah, sorry! That's not that simple to word this. You should base the control's size on the design-time size of your form at 100% DPI *and* include the DPIFactor protected property available on the form in your calculations.

Well, after all, you shouldn't use the DPIFactor property. We've replaced the download link at at https://www.add-in-express.com/creating-addins-blog/2018/09/24/panes-problems-solved/ so that it provides a sample project; please check it.

Hi Andrei,

I'm a little confused by your last post - you say "you shouldn't use the DPIFactor property" and yet the sample project you linked to does exactly that.

However I understand your previous comments about basing the initial size of our dynamic controls on existing controls created at design time. I'll give that a go and provide an update.
