Hi

We are trying to publish MSI through two different sources with auto-update features. So we are trying to use the additional installation URLs as a fall back if the main installation URL is not available.

If we use the full path like "C:\ExcelAddin\MSIPublish" it works fine, but if I use the relative path like "..\..\..\MSIPublish" it fails to start the MSI. It finds the version_info.xml file but fails to run the MSI file.

The error message is "Failed to copy'AddinExpressSetup.msi' file. Error:3. Task name: DownloadFile".

Hello Kiru,

Relative paths aren't supported in the URLs fields. Please provide a complete path.

Thanks Andrei,

It worked when I changed it to "../../../MSIPublish" back slash instead of forward slash.

This wasn't expected :) Supposedly, this is because the bootstrapper holds the path to the .MSI as an URL.
