Our customers are facing issue that crashes Outlook - if Add-in Panel located at the top of reading pane and another add-in for example: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53018 is also at the top of reading pane. Same goes with Contoso Add-in for booking rooms (we were unable to get this).

If Add-Express panel is in other positions everything works fine, but our customers are frustrated and want this to be at the top of reading pane.

This can be reproduced on Outlook 2016/2013 W10 x64 with Azure Microsoft data Protection.

I don't know were to start looking in this situation.

Hello Andriy,

Please check if selecting the "Optimize for compatibility" option on the General tab of the dialog window which you open via File | Options. Also, this option may be available via the Display Settings button in the status bar.

Hi,

Sorry for not responding on this issue. This error can occur on versions of Outlook that don't have "Optimize for compatibility" option. For Outlook 2013 for example. Your panel share same spot as other 3rd party add-in.

Hello Andriy,

Can you please create a new empty add-in showing a form in that region and reproduce this issue using the text add-in? Is the issue reproducible? Is this issue reproducible on your development machine?

What Add-in Express Regions build do you use?
