Dear Add-in Express,

Some of our customers started experiencing problems after upgrading to Outlook 365 Business 1808 or Outlook 365 Pro+ 1807.
The issue is we see our add-in as separate window outside of Outlook, and black area where add-in is supposed to be. If add-in is disabled/enabled it goes back to normal - until you restart outlook and you see same problem.

This was for Outlook Regions 3.3.2435

I've upgraded our project to 3.4.2440 - and sent our customer to try and he faced another issue . Panel is not shown - enabling, disabling add-in, restarting doesn't help.

Custommer has W10 x64 / Outlook 365 Business 1808 x64. We are unable to reproduce this on our side with Outlook 365 Pro+ 1807.

Any ideas how to help us?

Hello Andriy,

What you see is a reaction to the recent feature introduced in Office 2016: support of multiple monitors with different DPI settings. This feature isn't supported in the current Add-in Express Regions version. To avoid this, you can select the "Optimize for compatibility" option button on the General tab of the dialog window which you open via File | Options.

Hello Andrei,

I must be blind but version of Outlook 365 that we have has no such option.

What is left out of screenshot is configuration of LinkedIn that is on this tab.

And this issue also occurs for Outlook 2013 and there is no such setting on general tab.

Thank you,
Andriy.

Aha! In a moment I'll send you latest assembly; please let me know if it works for you.

Hello J?rgen,

The above relates to using Add-in Express Regions for Outlook and VSTO, not to Add-in Express for Office and .NET. Please make sure you use the latest Add-in Express build. If so, and if you have an issue, please create a new topic providing information about the issue: how it looks like, describe the test environment, the build numbers of Office, Add-in Express, and other involved tools. If we've alredy fixed this issue, I'll send you an assembly. If not, we will need to reproduce the issue first.
