Hello

I have an addInExpress Excel AddIn using MSI for Deployment

Can I change the Icons showing in:

Control Panel/ Programs & Features

MSI Installer - SetUP / Downloading application files
Windows Installer - Preparing to Install

Hello Michael,

VDProj : See the AddRemoveProgramsIcon property in project properties.

WiX:
<Property Id="ARPPRODUCTICON">_40AA1D69407E</Property>
<Icon Id="_40AA1D69407E" SourceFile="<path to icon file> " />

Icon Id can be any.

Thank you Andrei for your prompt reply,

this works perfect for the Control Panel / program and features, thank you.

I had looked for ICON in the properties but would have never thought that it is called "AddRemoveProgramsIcon"

Is there a possibility to customise on Windows Installer = VDProj also

to change the CD picture and to put a custom Icon in front of "aleraThermalSetUP"

It looks to me that there is no access to the actual forms which build up the installer?
