Hi Guys,

I've got an unusual situation.

The Task Panes appear to be 'floating' outside their docking area.
It's probably easier to look at the screen-shot I've attached than describe it.

This is only happening on one computer running Windows 10 with Office 2016.
The add-in has been installed on other PCs with the same configuration without any problems.

The loader and registration logs don't provide clues to an (obvious) issue.

Where would you suggest I should look for a cause and solution?

Hello Marcus,

This is a result of that Add-in Express build not supporting a recent feature introduced in Office 2016: support of multiple monitors with different DPI settings. This feature is only supported in Add-in Express version 9; find more background info at https://www.add-in-express.com/creating-addins-blog/2018/05/08/add-in-express-multiple-dpi-monitors/.

With Add-in Express version 8, you can avoid this issue, if you select the "Optimize for compatibility" option button on the General tab of the dialog window which you open via File | Options.

Thanks for the explanation, Andrei. That makes sense.

I've already upgraded to version 9, but the version this user has installed was compiled with version 8.

I'll update the installer and let you know how it goes.
