On Citrix Server, Office Add-in disappears after logout/login

Our per-machine add-in is installed on a Citrix server in "installation mode". Immediately thereafter, Word or other Office apps open with our add-in working. adxregistrator and adxloader logs show success.

Then, the user logs out and logs back in. Office apps open without loading our add-in. Nothing is added to adxloader.log. Our add-in is not listed among "disabled add-ins" or under COM Add-ins or anywhere else. Thus, it seems that it doesn't "fail to load", but is gone.

Our customer says that the server is resetting (parts of) the registry on each login, but thinks this is limited to each user's profile. He doesn't think a per-machine install would be affected.

Although this may be an issue with the Citrix configuration more so than Add In Express, any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated. For instance, if we knew exactly what registry entries are made by the registrator, we could confirm that these are being unmade and maybe find another way to make them.

Hello Ira,

Could you please check that the add-in is still installed? Is it possible that you are logging in to a different profile? Or, even a different computer? Seriously, check the name of the computer.

We describe the registry keys in section Locating COM Add-ins in the Registry, see the PDF file in the folder {Add-in Express}\Docs on your development PC or https://www.add-in-express.com/docs/net-deploying-addins.php. You can find the keys on your machine and then confirm they exist on that server.
