Disappearing document in Word when using Advanced Task Pane

We have an Add-in for Word that uses the advanced task pane. When you have a document open that contains multiple pages along with the task pane shown and the Word navigation pane open then you press the ?Â?Ð?èMultiple Pages?Â?Ð?é button under the ?Â?Ð?èView?Â?Ð?é tab in word then collapse the advanced task pane, the document will in a rare case disappear instead of fill the space that the task pane left when it was collapsed. To get the document back again you have to press the ?Â?Ð?èOne Page?Â?Ð?é button again.

Was wondering is this a known issue with the advanced task pane and Word?

Hello Chris,

What build of Word 2016 are you using? Is the issue reproducible with a new empty add-in showing a task pane? Is the issue reproducible with all other COM add-ins turned off?

Could you capture a video showing the issue? If yes, you can use Jing; it's free.
