Old format or invalid type library. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80028018 (TYPE_E_INVDATAREAD))
This causes COM Objects (e.g. cells) not to be working properly.

Around the beginning of July our customer reported, that our excel Add-In suddenly started showing errors in reading and writing cell values.

Debugging the c# code around the reported bug I suddenly can?t look up COM objects and their properties any more, because the debugger throws the exception "Old format or invalid type library. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80028018 (TYPE_E_INVDATAREAD))".

Is any MS update dated this summer causing this new behaviour?

We are using AddIn Express Professional, Version 8.2.4371.

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance
