Hi, I am a new user of add-in express and trying to get the add-in express running with outlook 2016. I am using VS 2015 with C#.
I tried to create a new add-in based on the documentation and as well downloaded an example and tried to run it. Nothing happens at all. The add-in does not work, in the option pane of outlook it does not show up and when I set some breakpoints in the initialize routine, the debugger does never stop.
I tried to create an add-in without add-in express and that worked fine from the very first moment. Thus I assume this is not a problem with my system.
Anyone else with the problem? Can anyone help me please?

Hello Bernd,

Make sure you register the add-in as demonstrated in section Step 15. Running the COM Add-in at https://www.add-in-express.com/docs/net-first-com-addin.php.
