ADX 8 Beta not registering old project

I have started using the version 8 beta with Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition. If I make a brand new Outlook add-in it works OK. However, if I try to run an add-in made in the previous version it won't Register. I click the menu item to Register and the project builds as expected but there is no message to say it is being registered or to say that registration has completed. When I run the project Outlook starts but the add-in's tool bar is not there and it is not listed in the COM Addins window.

Am I missing something?

Hello Mike,

Will the same occur if you open the Configuration Manager dialog and clear all check boxes? Supposedly, the issue is caused by the order in which the projects build in this solution.

Hi Andrei

That worked. Thanks very much. Just for completeness let me add that although my add-in registered after I had done as you said its ribbon did not appear. Then I notices that in Configuration Manager the main Add-in project's Platform was down as x86 while the other projects were are Any CPU. I changed the add-in project to Any CPU and everything worked fine.

Should I leave all the projects unchecked in Configuration Manager or do I need to go back and re-check them?

You'll need to build all projects this day or other, so you'll need to re-check them. If the issue depends on the build order, you may need to do this now and then. Or, you can change the build order.
