Try to add new ADX Outlook Form
Cannot add it from Microsoft Visual Studio 2012

Hi,

I try to add as recommanded in your documentation, a new object of type ADX Outlook Form.
So i open it in Projet > Add New Item > Add-In Express Items > Outlook > ADX Outlook Form.

I leave the name by default.

BUT, when i click on "Add" button, nothing goes, the same dialog comes over and over again.

Anyway, if i add another class such as Outlook Property Page, there is no problem.

My Visual Studio is in French, i do not guess the problem comes from that.

Any idea ?

Could you please send me a video showing the issue? You can use Jing; it's free. You can send the video to the support email address; you can find it in {Add-in Express installation folder}\readme.txt. Also, open the About dialog of your Visual Studio and click Copy Info. This places the information to the Clipboard; send me this information, too. Please make sure your email contains a link to this topic.

In addition, i made a test by adding in my project a form inheriting directly from Winforms Form.

By code, i changed it from Form to ADXOlForm, added it in the ADXOlFormsManager, and that' it, i got it work for my Outlook.

Try this approach. On the designer of the add-in module, select the forms manager (of the ADXOlFormsManager type); in the in-place designer, select an item (of the ADXolFormscollectionItem type); in the Properties window, select the FormClassName property; click the arrow button in the property value field; in the dropdown, choose "<New...>". Does this work?

If not, try reinstalling Add-in Express. If this doesn't help, try reinstalling Visual Studio.
