Hello,

We have encountered a phenomenon that sometimes in Excel the "Do you want to save these changes" dialog appears behind Excel itself. We can see it when we hover over the Excel icon in windows task-bar.
Could this be related to us showing a task pane in Excel? If not, any ideas on other things that could cause this by our add-in?

Hello Igor,

We haven't watched such an issue with our panes. It is possible that you use some third-party controls that cause the issue. Also check if you set focus anywhere in your code. As an experiment, you can delete all controls from your pane and turn off the logic related to these controls. I wonder if the issue is reproducible in this case. You can also send us a test project.
