Thank you very much for your explanations.

I guess i am good to look for a tutorial on modal forms, there is a steep the learning curve to switch from VBA and visual studio.

I created a form named Form1.vb , added a test button, but i am stuck trying to show the form.

Francois,

A form can be shown only in an event. For instance in the Click event of a Ribbon button; you can add such a button for testing.

Dim frm as New Form1()
' Display frm as a modal dialog
frm .ShowDialog()
