Hello Ma,

I don't think it is possible. In fact, they allow the developer to add a custom entry to the Undo list in Excel; the problem is that the entry must point to a VBA macro, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ff194135.aspx. You cannot bypass this restriction. Plus, using a macro creates more problems, see http://excel.tips.net/T002060_Preserving_the_Undo_List.html.

Maybe, you'll find some ideas at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/661269/can-i-create-an-undo-transaction-in-word-or-excel-vsto usefult. But this page mostly relates to Word; and Word differs a lot from Excel and other Office applications.

I should have noted that it is possible to "click" the Undo button programmatically. Also, it is possible to read the caption of the first item in the Undo list.

I wonder if this will help.
