Hi,

I got this error: "Activation context generation failed for..."

I know this is not a real problem, but this happens a lot to my customers and "spam" their log, there is something i can do about it?

Hi,
Thanks. In one of the post you said that changing the dll name will work. do you know if it works?
If so, do we need to change the *. manifest files as well?

Hi Omri,

Nope. As you see, we didn't get any feedback on this forum thread.

I have just created a new XLL add-in project and the manifest file is untouched there (adxloader.dll.manifest). So, I can make a conclusion that there is no need to rename the manifest file.

Please let me know whether it helps.
