Hello Alex,

In april, we are going to publish a minor build of the WiX Designer. The build will provide support for VS 2017 and bug fixes.

Hi Andrei,

We are really looking forward to it, as we've already started migrating to VS 2017 and would like to have at least the same functionality in the new environment.

Btw, am I correct assuming that you are still planning to release the update with functional improvements later?

Hello Alex,

Yes, the WiX designer will provide the same functionality in VS 2017.

Correct. These improvements won't be included in the upcoming build though.
