Best Practice For Connecting To Webservice via BHO?

Hey Guys,

I just purchased addinexpres for ie and loving it so far, got my c# code going almost instantly. Fantastic RAD software!

I need my bho to query my webservice periodically and was wondering what is the best way to achieve this?
This is my first time building an ie addon and unsure about how limiting protected mode will be when performing webclient requests.
