Hello,

I have a word addin that loads in Outlook 2003 when the user uses Word as their mail editor. I do not want this addin to load in Outlook.

Unfortunatly the "Envelope" command bar is loaded in Word and in Outlook.

Is there any way to get if we are currently loaded/running in Outlook?

I've also tried to use the WordApp.Container property as discused in http://www.add-in-express.com/forum/read.php?FID=1&TID=6083

This produces an error that says : "Cette propri?t? n'est disponible que si le document est un objet OLE."

Translation : "This property is only available if the document is an OLE object."

Think a found the solution, used the Document.Kind property to check if the document is an email message.

Hi Benoit,

Thank you for sharing the solution.

As to the Envelope command bar, you can check its Visible property, it will be True when Word 2003 is used as the default email editor in Outlook 2003.
