Hi.

Is it possible to develop Outlook add-in that could be ran on all Outlook platforms (2003-2010, x32/x64) with Add-in Express for VCL?

I have a problem to run my simple plugin on Outlook 2010 x64. The problem is the same as http://www.add-in-express.com/forum/read.php?a&FID=1&TID=8550.

Andrei Smolin said that it is not possible to run VCL add-ins on x64-based Office distributions.
If this is true, where can I find some warning about that on your web-site, and what should I do if I bought a license of Add-in Express for VCL and I need x64 support?

Hi Stepan,

Using Add-in Express for Office and VCL you can develop a COM add-in for MS Office 2000-2007 and 2010 x86. It is not possible to write a COM add-in for MS Office 2010 x64 in Delphi because there is no Delphi version that could generate 64-bit code.

If this is true, where can I find some warning about that on your web-site

You can find information about supported Office versions on http://www.add-in-express.com/add-in-delphi/index.php and http://www.add-in-express.com/add-in-delphi/requirements.php as well as on the http://www.add-in-express.com/index.php and http://www.add-in-express.com/products/index.php.

what should I do if I bought a license of Add-in Express for VCL and I need x64 support?

Actually you have two options:
1. We can replace your licence with Add-in Express for Office and .net that supports Office 2010 x86 and x64.
2. Wait for Embarcadero to release the 64-bit compiler.

If you want to change your Add-in Express licence just let us know.
