Our plugin does not work on Office 2010 64 bit
I get error message when trying to add plugin

My computer is: Windows 7 64bit, Office 2010 64bit, Delphi 2009, ADX 2009

If I use "regsvr32 Plugin.dll" it says that DllRegisterServer was successful but when I open Outlook 2010, our toolbar doesn't show, and our plugin is in the "inactive plugins" list in the options window.

If I go to the COM Add-Ins window in Outlook, and click on Add... browse to our plugin DLL, I get this error:

Plugin.dll is not a Office Add-in.


Is there no support for ADX VCL for 64 bit office? What would be the best way to make it work, any alternatives?

Hi Andrei,

You should know that there's no Delphi 64-bit and that's the reason why your add-in doesn't load in Office 2010 64-bit. The only way I know is to switch to using .NET.
