Moving from XP to Windows7
Not all add-in-express components get installed

I have just upgraded from XP to Windows 7. When I re-install add-in-express for VCL 2010, not all components get installed. The following image shows what get installed. Components, like TaskPaneManager and others are missing.

How can I install the whole package?

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately I can't access the screenshot you provided above. Could you please upload it to any image hosting server (for example, http://www.flickr.com/) or send it to the support e-mail address (see readme.txt for details)?

Hi Michael,

Thank you. Please try to turn on the "Add-in Express 2010 Extensions design-time package for Delphi" package manually. Close all opened projects in your Delphi IDE, go to Component -> Install Packages and check the package. Please let me know if it worked.

Thank you Dmitry

I tried that but it wouldn't accept being checked. I got the following error message:

After closing that error message, a new error message pops up:

After closing the second message box, the selection ("Add-in Express 2010 Extensions design-time package for Delphi") unchecked itself.

Do you have any idea what causes this?

Hi Michael,

Make sure you are an administrator on the PC. On Vista and Windows 2008 Server, turn UAC on. On Windows 7, set UAC to its default level. In Control Panel | System | Advanced | Performance | Settings | Data Execution Prevention, set the "... for essential Windows programs and services only" flag.
Remove the following registry key, if it exists:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Add-in Express\ADX VCL 2010 {package}.

Finally, use the Automatic activation option in the installer windows.
